MEDIATION APPROACH:

Kathy uses the facilitative approach to mediation. Kathy works on the basis that the parties have the right legal experts for their case, and need to combine this with the right facilitation expert to collaboratively move the case to resolution.
The facilitative approach applies the mediator's expertise and skills in the process of dispute
and conflict resolution to most effectively facilitate the parties to agreement.  Through this approach, Kathy works to focus the parties on their key interests, options, acceptable outcomes, and new perspectives that will lead to resolution.

The facilitative approach to mediation allows parties to move through a non-adversarial, creative, and highly engaging process to achieve acceptable outomes and alternatives to costly, risky, and lengthy litigation.
